On 17 July, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Republic of Abkhazia Astamur Katsia presented his credentials to President of the Republic of Abkhazia Badra Gunba.
The President noted that Abkhazia and South Ossetia are bound by historically fraternal relations, based on a shared destiny, mutual respect and many years of support. He wished the Ambassador success in his responsible diplomatic mission, aimed at strengthening friendly ties between the two states.
Astamur Katsia expressed his commitment to working towards the further development and deepening of bilateral cooperation between South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
