The Twelfth Meeting of the Joint South Ossetian-Russian Demarcation Commission (hereinafter referred to as the Joint Commission) was held in Tskhinval, Republic of South Ossetia, on 15–19 June 2026.
The Commission discussed the progress of work on the international legal formalisation of the State border between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation.
The meeting was held in a spirit of good-neighbourliness and mutual understanding.
The dates and venue of the next meeting of the Joint Commission will be agreed upon through diplomatic channels.
