On December 13, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev attended the event, dedicated to celebration of the 79th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Nicaragua and the Russian Federation, organized in Moscow.
On the margins of the event the Minister met with Advisor to the President of the Republic of Nicaragua on Investments, Trade, and International Cooperation Laureano Ortega Murillo.
On behalf of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev, Akhsar Dzhioev extended a warm welcome to the friendly Nicaraguan nation in the person of Comandante Daniel Ortega and Vice-President Rosario Murillo, having emphasized the importance of maintaining the bilateral contacts.
