On October 18, a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Russian Federation Bashar Jaafari was held in Moscow.
The parties discussed issues related to the development of interaction and cooperation between Tskhinval and Damascus at various levels. At the background of the sharply aggravated situation in the Middle East, special attention was drawn to the state of affairs in and around Syria.
