On September 29, meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba, was held in Sukhum.
Akhsar Dzhioev expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and congratulated the people of Abkhazia on the coming Victory Day in the Patriotic War of 1992-1993, wished peace, prosperity and further successes.
In his turn, Inal Ardzinba emphasized the importance of participation of the delegation of the fraternal South Ossetia in the solemnities on such a significant for the Abkhaz people day.
The parties discussed the security situation in Transcaucasia, the work of the GID and other issues of the bilateral relations. The importance of intensifying the bilateral dialogue in conditions of the challenging geopolitical situation in Transcaucasia was stressed.
