The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia I.B. Ardzinba sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia A.M. Dzhioev on the occasion of the Diplomat’s Day of the Republic of South Ossetia.
The congratulation, in particular, says:
«The formation of the Foreign Ministry on May 28, 1992 is inextricably linked with the most important stages of the development of the state. South Ossetian diplomats, who worked during a difficult period for the country, selflessly defended the national interests of their Homeland. Today, South Ossetian diplomats continue to work with honor and dignity to strengthen their foreign policy positions in the international arena, making an important contribution to ensuring regional security and stability.
Taking this pleasant opportunity, I would like to express my gratitude to you for your official visit in May this year to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia. I am convinced that it will give an additional impetus to both interdepartmental and interstate interaction».
