Following the terrorist attacks on state institutions and important telecommunication facilities in Tiraspol, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia Dmitrii Medoev and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vitalii Ignatiev.
Minister Medoev strongly condemned the range of criminal actions, having characterized them as an intentional provocation and terrorist activity. Alongside with this he assured Minister Ignatiev that the people of South Ossetia stand in solidarity with the fraternal people of Pridnestrovie and strongly condemn whatever kind of terrorist and extremist activities, and the Ministry was preparing a special statement on the event.
In his turn Vitalii Ignatiev expressed gratitude for the support and solidarity with the people of Pridnestrovie. He spoke in detail about the attack and its consequences and emphasized that the Government of Pridnestrovie was doing the utmost not to allow similar actions in future any more. A Decree by the President of the Republic V. N. Krasnoselski was being prepared to announce the red level of danger in the territory of the Republic.
