On December 1, the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia ratified the Agreement between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation on the settlement of issues of dual citizenship, introduced by the President of the Republic of South Ossetia A. I. Bibilov.
Earlier on September 20, the document was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia D. N. Medoev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of South Ossetia M. M. Kulakhmetov.
The agreement will enter into force on the date of the exchange of the instruments of ratification.
