Negotiations between Anatolii Bibilov, the President of the Republic of South Ossetia, and Raul Khadzhimba, the President of the Republic of Abkhazia, who arrived in Tskhinval on an official visit, took place in the Residence of the South Ossetian President on November 26, 2017.
The Presidents discussed terms of further development and strengthening of the South Ossetian-Abkhazian relations and exchanged opinion on current issues of international agenda.
Later the South Ossetian and the Abkhazian parties held extended-format talks.
Form the South Ossetian side Igor Kozaev, Chief of Administration of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia, Dmitrii Medoev, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Natali Gassieva, Minister of Education, Lev Pukhaev, Minister of Agriculture, and Oleg Botsiev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Republic of Abkhazia, were among the participants of the negotiations, while Daur Arshba, Chief of Administration of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia, Daur Kove, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adgur Kakoba, Minister of Education, Daur Tarba, Minister of Agriculture, and Alan Elbakiev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Republic of South Ossetia, represented the Abkhazian side.
The negotiations have ended with signing of bilateral documents.
Natali Gassieva and Adgur Kakoba signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia on cooperation in the sphere of education.
Lev Pukhaev and Daur Tarba signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Government of the Republic of Abkhazia on cooperation in the sphere of agriculture.
