Dmitriy Medoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, hosted a meeting with Vitaliy Yankovskiy, the Head of the Official Representation of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, on October 6, 2017.
Mr. Yankovskiy reported about the work of the Representation on deepening and extending partnership conducted in accordance with the existing agreements. Consultations on a range of challenges requiring systematic coordinated solutions were held. The necessity of accelerating efforts for further development of friendly ties between South Ossetia and Pridnestrovie was emphasized.
During the visit Vitaliy Yankovskiy is planning to present a painting which is called 08.08.08 to the National Museum of the Republic of South Ossetia. The painting of a famous Soviet and Pridnestrovian artist Gennadiy Zykov symbolizes the Georgian aggression against the people of South Ossetia.
