Pertaining to the appointment of the Head of the Official Representation of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic
Under the Decree of the Minister of Foreign Affairs dated April 10, 2017 Vitaliy V. Yankovskiy was appointed as Head of the Official Representation of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.

Vitaliy Valentinovich Yankovskiy was born on April 29, 1969.
Education:
1994 - Odessa National Polytechnic University; 2000 - Pridnestrovian State University; 2013 - Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod, Master’s Degree; Since 2014 – Ph.D. candidate at the State University of Management.
Professional experience:
1996 - 2000 – Counsellor of Pridnestrovian Secretary of State for international organizations;
2000 - 2007 – Deputy Foreign Minister of Pridnestrovie;
2007 - 2009 – Head of the Defense Directorate of Pridnestrovian Security Council Office;
2007 - 2011 – Special Representative of the President of Pridnestrovie for cooperation with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela;
August - November 2008 - Commander of Pridnestrovian voluntary rescue team in the Republic of South Ossetia located in Tskhinval;
2010 - 2011 – Representative of Pridnestrovian Presidential Executive Office in the expert group on issues of humanitarian aid in negotiations with the Republic of Moldova;
2012 - 2014 – Head of the Executive Office of the government of Pridnestrovie;
Since October 2014 – Head of Russian-Priednestrovian Cooperation Center affiliated with the Pridnestrovian State University.
Is awarded with National Aawards of the Republic of South Ossetia (holder of the Order of Friendship), the Republic of Abkhazia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic.
Is married, has a son.
