On October 29 D. G. Sanakoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, received Jan Mishkots, the new Head of the ICRC mission in South Ossetia.
Current terms of bilateral cooperation and further activity of the organization in South Ossetia were discussed. The Minister marked the importance of the work carried out by the ICRC in the Republic and expressed words of gratitude for the implemented projects.
On behalf of the Committee Jan Mishkots, in his turn, thanked the authorities of South Ossetia for constructive dialogue and creating favorable conditions for the work of the ICRC mission in South Ossetia.
Both parties expressed readiness for further fruitful collaboration.
