The 5th annual conference organized by Russian residents in South Ossetia was held in Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of South Ossetia on September, 16. The main subject of the conference was "The multi-vector humanitarian course of Russia in the “near abroad” and Russian compatriots in South Ossetia".
D. G. Sanakoev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of RSO, was also a speaker on the conference. On behalf of leaders of the Republic and his personal capacity he welcomed the conference attendees and expressed words of gratitude to representatives of public organizations “Rossy” and “Russian Citizens Union” which work over various projects bringing benefit to all citizens of the Republic. As the Minister emphasized, despite the challenges the global politics is facing currently, Russia keeps on supporting in every possible way and providing comprehensive humanitarian assistance to its compatriots who live abroad.
