10 years have passed since the February 2014 Kiev events, which in the latest Ukrainian mythology were romantically named “the Revolution of Dignity” - the events that later brought down the state independence and sovereignty of Ukraine.
November 23 saw another politicized decision made by the European Parliament, which adopted the resolution on the incident, that happened on November 6, 2023 near the village of Amdzarin of the Lenigor region in the territory adjusted to the border with Georgia.

On June 7, 2023, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution prepared by Georgia on the situation of internally displaced persons and refugees from South Ossetia and Abkhazia (document A/77/L.73). The Georgian delegate who introduced the draft resolution stated that it was “purely humanitarian” in order to “avoid any political speculation when the basic rights of displaced persons are at stake”.
On June 7, within the framework of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, a resolution initiated by Georgia on the situation of internally displaced persons and refugees from South Ossetia and Abkhazia was adopted yet again.
“The concept of the foreign policy of the Russian Federation, approved today by Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been updated in the context of the current difficult situation and defines the priority directions, goals and objectives of Russia's international activities.
We are closely following the events taking place in Georgia over the past few days. It is obvious that the developing serious internal political crisis, into which this country has been driven again by its Western curators and so-called "friends", may become a threat to the stability and security of the entire Transcaucasian region.
We have paid attention to the words of Salome Zourabichvili, the President of Georgia, who stated in her interview to Bloomberg that Georgian problems connected with the ongoing claims for the territory of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Abkhazia should be should in conjunction with future peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
