On December 15, in Moscow, the South Ossetian Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev met with the State Secretary of the Union State of Russia and Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev.
Head of the Foreign Ministry informed the State Secretary of the Union State about the forthcoming visit of a delegation of the Parliament of the Republic of South Ossetia to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, which has observer status.
Dmitry Mezentsev spoke about the work of the Permanent Committee of the Union State of Russia and Belarus and about the events scheduled for 2024, having emphasized two upcoming anniversaries – the 80th anniversary of liberation of Belarus from Nazi-invaders and the 25th anniversary of the Treaty on establishment of the Union State.
